The Precious Land

The Precious Land is made up of twelve smaller separate kingdoms all ran independent of the other. Each kingdom has a precious metal or gem that they are known for which is abundant only in that kingdoms lands.

Each kingdom is headed by a pure blooded Elezen family. Subraces exist in the Precious Lands, but are not eligible for positions of status nor can they become a person of power or status, that is strictly reserved for those of the Elezen race. The Precious Lands are highly religious in following their gods, though vague at times who they pray to as many of the gods were rendered dead or missing in action. Respect in the form of the gods, practices in relationships, ceremonies and courtship are still upheld. Simple yet strenuous practices in regard to courtship are strong among Elezen nobility and royalty. Women do not bed a man, to remain pure and whole, until they are wed. A deflowered woman is worthless and useless to a family and can possibly be disowned and discarded from the family line. The same is applied to men of the family, however it is hearsay as it is easier for the man to feign his virginity than it is the women.

The geography of the Precious Lands are chains of mountains which house much of the precious metals and gems that each kingdom mines for and turns into product and profit. Tucked between the chain of mountains are large lush valleys saturated in rich ancient forests and pure clear waters. A land considerably untouched by the outside world as they are tucked in such a winding maze of their chaining mountains which isolates them in a unique manner.
